Lemon and Mint Infused Water

5th recipes in the 50 shades of summer series.

As much as I used to love summer growing up, now it only reminds me that I have to work in this heat. Yes, we do have the air conditioners and coolers on high. But the power cuts don’t let us forget the heat that melts even people when you go outside.

I think this is the only time I drink anything cold. Be it milkshakes, smoothies or just fruit infused water.

This has a nice blend of flavours, Lemony mint with a hint of sweetness. That goes so well with the weather.


  • Cuisine: global vegetarian

  • Yield: 2 cup

  • Preparation Time: 5 minutes
  • Difficulty: beginner


1 Lemon
6 to 7 mint leaves
2 Tablespoons Honey or to tastes
2 cups water


  1. Cut the lemon into slices and shred the mint leaves and add it to 2 cups of water and refrigerate over night
  2. Add the honey stir well and serve cold.
