One of the days last week I suddenly realised that I had not tasted a single mango this season! Damn! Over the weekend I set out to fix the ‘mango situation’.
Every summer before my father became a diabetic mango milkshake was a daily affair at my place. He would make mango milkshake after dinner and have it before we went out for our walk in the night.
This is an extremely simple recipe with just two ingredients.
- Peel the mango and cut the mango into large chunks.
- Add the mango chunks and the milk into a mixed and blend into a milkshake
- Add ice cubes ( as needed) and serve cold.
- I like my milkshakes without sugar. If you think the milkshake is sour because of the mango, please add sugar as necessary.
